Don't worry, the ship will come back to port once the Democrats regain the presidency.
Democrats will once again start talking about the need to balance individual rights with the needs of the "community", and how the founding fathers "gave us" too many rights, how talk radio needs to be reigned in, etc. And Republicans will once again be the ones quoting Ben Franklin. |
