Default Can someone explain to me..

What happens after the millenium?

Satan gets loosed for season...

Battle of Gog and Magog

Judgement

My question is.... Why loose satan for a season? Why not just have the judgment at the end of the millenium? Won't there be ressurected people living on earth at the time of Gog and Magog? How do they fit in the war?

ooh, that makes me curious. Are Mormons pre-millenialists, post-millenialists, or a-millenialists? Or does that question not make sense in an LDS context?

Feel free to disregard this and continue with MRD's thought. That was just a tangential inquiry I had.

Could you define those terms?

Careful Barb. Don't tell him anything you wouldn't want put into the dossier he is compiling.

As long as she doesn't join the church, she doesn't have anything to worry about.

Well, premillennialism and postmillennialism presume an actual, bodily return of Christ. One party argues that this will occur before the millennium, the other argues that this will occur after.

A-millennialists believe that the entire thing is a metaphor. There is no bodily return of Christ and there is no literal millennial reign.

Based on that, I'd say we're premillennialists. We're definitely not a-millennialists.

Interesting. Very standard evangelical response.
