I am OK with that if 2 conditions are met. 1) it is only done in odd numbered years like this one, 2) it is one of the first two games during the year and we use that game for suspensions.

Number 1 is my primary concern. I just saw a ranking of teams over the past 3 years. SDSU, UNLV and Wyoming are ranked in the bottom third. We play them in the odd years, plus UNM. UNM isn't exactly a marque match up either. If we schedule a USU or !AA those years too, well that isn't exactly my idea of honor.

Even number years, fine. Schedule a 1AA. If you have a BCS school coming to town, plus Utah and TCU. It is an honorable schedule.

Don't anyone give me the big boys schedule 1AA schools too. The big boys play good teams in their conference. Take the PAC10 for example. We are excited to play Az. They are also ranked in the bottom third, but we are happy to play them.
