They had absolutely no problem making up Ventoux with this program. So its possible to become a good climber without any mountains, if you believe what these guys say.

They asked Andy Hampsten one time how he got to be such a great climber having grown up in North Dakota and he said him and his brother just rode into the wind all the time. Of course it didn't hurt that he weighed about 140 lbs.
