LXX (The Septuagint) reads:
"behold, a virgin shall conceive in the womb and shall bring forth a son..." The Hebrew reads: "behold, a young woman shall conceive , and bear a son..." and just for good measure, Matt. 1:23 that draws from the LXX: "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son..." I find it interesting that scholars ancient and modern concur (that in and of itself can be rare) that where there is a difference between the Hebrew and the LXX, the Hebrew is thought more likely to be accurate (which is not to argue that the Hebrew is more accurate on the whole). I can give sources if anyone wants to check this out on his/her own.
