Nobody's ever thought she was anything but caucasian. Yet, she's 3/8 black. Therefore, under pre-1978 church policy, she would not have been able to go to the temple, and her sons would not have been able to hold the priesthood. This sort of begs the question. Why is it significant to the issue whether you can identify a gay person at birth?
