That isn't religious bigotry anymore than someone saying they would never vote for a republican is political bigotry. A large percentage of the country does not share the Convservative Christian movement's political agenda. I'm willing to bet that if you polled Americans at least 35% would say they would never vote for atheist. Is that bigotry? I don't think so.
