From our Ehrman readings, we remember this with relation to 1 John 5:7-8, the trinitarian verses inserted by Erasmus.

I can see how the translator might make that change, I'm just trying to understand the change. What's kinda fun, is that when I first read Ehrman, none of this would have made sense, but after a little effort and a large expanse of time, it becomes more clear.
