What better entertainment than a break from the every-day thinking that an Adam Sandler no-brain-required comedy provides?
It always makes me laugh when people get upset about the money they spent seeing a movie like most of the Adam Sandler Genre, and were expecting something other than what he's already done.

Spanglish was an interesting flick. I may need to watch it again and see where I'd rate it. I haven't seen Punch Drunk Love or Reign Over Me, but I'd like to. I feel like I"m missing a movie as well. I think the trend here is pretty clear though, Sandler's movies for the most part have gone downhill. |

Ultimately, all his movies are the same, with some minor character & personality changes, except for some of those noted above (PDL, Spanglish, etc.). I'm personally more entertained by his movies which entertain on a more juvenile fashion, largely because I prefer my movie entertainment to be an escape from reality, and I go into those movies expecting them to be what they are. It's easy to be disappointed when you have inappropriate expectations.

PDL and Spanglish were terrible. Much worse than Little Nicky (which is saying something). Click was okay, but no Billy Madison or Waterboy (it's another more chick-flicky Sandler movie).

What was the purpose of the sunglass emoticon in the title of your message? I don't get it.

I think it's sort of like his Nicotine patch for the CougarBoard posting standard of placing half the post in the title...
