Don't make fun of America around Barbara. As she indicated, they are touring with Chicago and she's trying to figure out how to get backstage.
You are correct in your assertion that Styx is not heavy metal, but that distinction was lost on all the concerned mothers in my childhood ward. |

You're buying that explanation? The heroin story makes much more sense.

Hey now, I said I like the music. Thinking lyrics are silly doens't mean I don't like it. If it did I wouldn't like most pop.

I buy it. While very hairy (but who wasn't in the 70s?) America is actually a pretty strait-laced trio. The one guy whose name I can't recall quit the band becasue the RnR lifestyle was not consistent with his religious principles (you see, he wanted to dominate the world .. .sorry, worng thread) and all three were military brats who got togehter at an air force base outside of London. Other than the fact that Horse was used by others to mean Heroin back then, there is nothing I have read or learned that makes me think this soing is about drugs any more than, oh, say Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, for example. ;-)
