As some notice, BYU Idaho QB recruit did well at the Elite 11 QB challenge in Pepperdine. He was co-MVP.
BYU has the commitment or signed a Bobby Wolford out of Florida. His brother is a hotshot QB recruit, in fact considered the number 1 Sophomore QB recruit in the country. He's not LDS if I recall. Yet, he mentions BYU as a viable option. http://www.caneinsider.com/content/4...n-wolford.html When was BYU ever consistently lining up top QB after top QB. Note, I imagine Wolford ends up elsewhere as he will be competitively recruited by the top SEC programs from day 1. Already his, but to be considered is a good sign.

Sounds like Wolfords timetable would be the same as Mangum's, since Mangum is planning on a mission.
I don't expect him to come to BYU either, but I agree it is a step in the right direction. |
