So is that the backside from Bishop Pass? We went over on the Tulare/Fresno side. Sorry to hijack your thread Creekster.

Sounds like a great trip. But please tell me you took your fishing rod.

sorry. I am not much of a fisherman. I did see lots of fish hit bugs at the surface each morning and evening.

Overall sounds like a very nice trip.
I've been to Rucker lake. We had ward campouts there growing up. My stake (Concord) was one of those stakes to own part of it I believe. Beautiful area. |

Rucker is nice. We used it only for a car aprk, however, spending our time hiking elsewhere.

I've also been to Rucker and Glacier lakes I would imagine a couple of dozens times. Rucker is a beautiful spot with a nice campground, as far as car camping goes. We used to spend hours upon hours jumping off the cliffs on the far side of the lake, as well as taking the canoes over to the east side of the lake and explore the creek inlets there.
Good trip report creekster. I'm quite jealous. Did you ever mention who went? Was it a family, friend or church group? |
