Bad thing about having a sucky defense again
is that it means we have no team in conference which is clearly our inferior.
Fortunately AFA, Utah and TCU are in Provo, but with a horrid defense that we have, it won't matter.

I'm still not convinced we have a horrible defense. Our defense played horribly yesterday, but they looked better than average against AZ and UCLA. I think we just had a poor game plan, bad match-ups, and we a hit a QB who was on a roll. I'm going to wait another week before I deliver a verdict on this defense.

It's career day defense all over again.
Olson will have had his second best day against us and Arizona just sucks big time. This defense was undisciplined and looked like the ghost of Crowton had come back to haunt us into obscurity.

I'm with non-seq. Praise for the D was everywhere after the first two games. Let's wait another week or two before we freak out about how terrible our defense is.
That said, MWC teams are going to go to town on that game tape. We have to adjust and be prepared to be attacked with the long ball from here on out. |
