Default Lions for Lambs

Opening weekend for this movie?

$6.71 million.

Ouch.

Anyone seen it? Far as I can tell it's commentary on the war on terror, but I'm not sure.

EDIT: 26% at Rotten Tomatoes.

Took the day off yesterday and saw it with the wife. On a side note, saw this at the Union Park Cineplex and we were the youngest people there by about 40 years, no lie.

Anyway, my wife liked it better than I did. She's also a democrat from the liberal state of Oregon. It was heavy handed as was expected. Basically there is nothing that can be done to win the war. Our best and brightest are full of apathy. Politicians all lie. They announce their candidacy for presidency by denying it. The media is cynical as ever but ad revenue is more important than the "story" so news gets lost among entertainment fodder. Not great nor controversial as some have touted it.

Why go see it when we can see the same thing on CNN?
