I did have a Duty to God night last wednesday night and they were surprisingly good - lasted 45 minutes and there was still 30 minutes left over for the little twerps to go shoot airballs. |

The YM in my stake thought I was the coolest person on the planet because I had actually seen Pink Floyd and Queen in concert.

I was in YM for a year and a half before moving. I was all about just letting them play basketball every week. The problem is when you get a bishopric that is real uptight and wants everything done by the book, wants the kids to get merit badges and crap. You get caught in the middle and it really sucks. I hated being in the young men.

Mike you do need to keep plugging away. My leaders growing up did nothing but let us play basketball, out of 8 kids in my ward that were my age, only 1 recieved his eagle. I kind of regret it now and wish I had more motivated leaders, of course I am sure they were motivated we just made it very hard on them.
