Default Michigan primary

It's been kind of interesting, this primary campaign.

I find that my heart is for Romney, but my mind is for McCain. Hearts are a strange thing. They don't do what they are told.

Your heart must be smarter than your mind. Just follow your heart Mikey!

So your Romney bashing is merely projection. The narcissism of small differences in action.

I'm still thinking that I'll end up picking the candidate I dislike least as opposed to the one I have the most confidence in.

Here's a thought: let's say for kicks that Romney wins Michigan, and either he, or Thompson, or Guiliani go on to win the nomination.

Does this irrevocably damage the traditional value assigned to Iowa and New Hampshire as it pertains to their role of selecting the final candidate?

This is a good question. Why does Iowa still matter?

Not at all. Both have been worng many times. Their traditional value has as much to do with the fact that nothing esle is usually going on in the meida as it does with their predictive ability. They do allow somebody like huckabee to look like a player and build momentum.
