How often do you miss church in a year?
Votes are anonymous.
I am referring to skipping the entire 3-hour block for any reason: business travel, illness, frankly you just don't want to go that day, etc. |

This month marks my 10-year anniversary of joining the church.
I mean, I was baptized at 8, but my entire family went inactive shortly afterwards, so it's hard to say my sunbeam years were worth much. Then after about ten years of no religion whatsoever, I "joined" the church as an adult. In the first six years, I think I missed church twice. Over the past four though, it's become more frequent. |

Perhaps it's an Ecclesiastical Endorsement.

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!! Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |
