Losing Hitchcock Virginity
A buddy and his wife are coming over Friday night to sample a Hitchcock film. I own like 20 something of them and could easily borrow others, but I'm wondering what you think I should start them out on (He's seen parts of one or two and she hasn't seen any of them that she knows of).
I'm thinking of going with Rear Window or maybe North by Northwest. What think ye? (That a little KJV there at the end)

The more I think about it, the more I urge you to go with Vertigo. THat movie has a least two incredible things in it, Kim Novak as a blonde and everywhere they drive to in San Francisco there is always a parking spot RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING.
FOr any of you who have ever lived in San Francisco and have endured the indignity of retunring home and being unable to find a spot within 6-8 blocks of your apartment, or who have nedured the indignity of running out of your building early in the morning on the designated street sweeper day to move your car to avoid a ticket, you will agree with me that as amazing as Miss Novak looked, the parking is what really makes you gasp.

The Man Who Knew Too Much is good and has the added benefit of having Doris Day in it.
Also, Rear Window is very Good.

Strangers on a Train is terrific and as others have mentioned, you can never go wrong with Rear Window.

We went with Rear Window and they loved it. In addition to being a talented actor, Grace Kelly might just be the most beautiful woman to ever grace the big screen.
