Obama's pie in the sky health care plan
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2...s-health-plan/
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...052900111.html So far his wonderful "idea" is light on specifics, "we're going make insurance available for everyone." Hmm few details and yet no mandates. Hmm, we'll see. Here is somebody a bit more knowledgeable about the silly health care reform proposals. I won't agree with him, but acknowledge he watches it more closely now that I currently do. http://alankatz.wordpress.com/2008/0...h-care-reform/ Oh my God, a Health Care Fed. hell no. http://healthpolicyandmarket.blogspo...0Health%20Plan We've already got, CMS from the DHHS, now another agency. What a moron!

A few things that stuck out to me from his website.
Mandatory HC tax on employers, coupled with an expansion of bureacracy for oversight. Quote:

I'm crapping my pants, but if he is elected, it means an increase in my clientele. Not another bureaucracy please.
There's so much fodder there to criticize him, it's like a goldmine. Wow, what a veritable mine of socialism. No wonder Cali loves him.

But.... Cali says it's NOT socialism. He hasn't said what it is, but it isn't socialism.

I'm not terribly concerned about what you call it, I just hate to see the expansion of the federal bureaucracy and additional burdens on business. If it's not socialism, it's certainly a big government solution.

It's a textbook example of socialism in action.
