I have seen some previews for the 4400 television show. I guess it is about 4400 people that were taken away by aliens and returned to the earth with special powers. Anyone seen it and is it worth watching it.

I am not normally a scifi guy but this board got me addicted to Battlestar Galactica which is an amazing show and I was curious if anyone had seen this other show.

Okay, did some searching and found that it is a couple of years old. I thought I had heard of it. The 4400

I had never heard of it until saturday night when I caught what looked like a pilot episode. It was okay, probably better than most network sci-fi attempts.

From what I gathered, and this may be off because I missed probably 15 minutes of the show, was that these 4400 people were chosen for some reason to be transported to a future time to receive some new knowledge or abilities which will help to alter the present day world. Civilization is threatened by some unknown force and it is up to these 4400 people to save it. Sounds hokey, but I think it will be watchable.

Take my review fwiw. I'm not a sci-fi guy. I was the only one here who didn't like the movie Serenity that everyone else was so high on.

Saw it Sunday. Somewhat fun.

Some good moral dilemmas posed.
