Talking to a group isn't "yielding or conceding to the belligerent demands of a nation in a conciliatory effort. If he were to talk and then cave in to their demands, whatever they may be, THAT would be appeasement. If talking alone is appeasement, then Reagan was the Great Appeaser.

Like socialism, I know the definition of appeasement.

And when I mention socialist or appeaser when posting about Obama, there is nothing he has done to demonstrate I'm am incorrect.

As for Reagan, he talked to Gorby while he had nukes pointed at the Soviet Union and Gorbachev knew Reagan wasn't bluffing.

Reagan talked to Gorby. By your definition, he is an appeaser. Not to mention the fact that you are starting off with a presumption that someone is an appeaser and requiring them to demonstrate they are not (fairly odd).

I'm calling Obama an appeaser based on what he'll do. He'll cave into the enemies demands, because that is what cowards do.

The rag on Obama is not that he wants to talk, but that he wants to talk without pre-conditions. That's code lingo for an appeaser. There's also this unspoken implication in the way Obama talks about it that he has this magical ability to placate our enemies, were they only to hear him speak.

It's no surprise that Cali finds this persuasive, since he himself has fallen under his mystical spell.
