My mother owns the whole stinkin' set and, apart from some poetry, I don't think she ever cracked the books open. I think she bought them becasue they looked good on the shelf.

Not this time. I have a decent grasp of the history of that era and I've read a good chunk of Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War but that's about it.
