Arm Wrestling and Chess Champion at Summer Camp
Or as I call it, Brains and Brawn Champion.
Nineteen year old who came along as an adult for my troop bested me. So the second time, I focused on getting better hand position, as he had started with better position the first time. Beat him. Refused a rematch (I'm not stupid). I later arm-wrestled "Bubba" from another troop. 350lb easy in overalls. He almost got me down twice, but couldnt' seal the deal, then I rested in that position, and countered slamming him. My arms still hurt. I think I pulled tendons. I was also the chess champion. Undefeated. One of the kids in my troop is pretty good. He taught me some chess lingo and concepts. But he couldn't beat me, to his frustration. Yup, I still got it. |

This reminds me of our relationship since its inception.
