"Bag of Hammers"
Thao with the Get Down Stay Down-Beat
I know this song has been out for a little bit, but it talks about ice cream, so I thought it would be a good tune for the 4th. What are some other great tunes for the 4th or just summer in general?

I will counter your cool video/song with what is undeniably the worst all time "summer song." Also, just an all-around awful song, regardless of the season. One of the reasons I hate it so much is because it reminds me of the summer YOhio, UteStar, and I lived together and sold pest control door-to-door. It started out fun, but by August we were all fighting.

"Dumber than a bag of hammers" is one of my favorite put downs, second only, perhaps, to "dumber than a bag of dried leaves."
I might have gotten both of those from Sir Charles but I don't recall. Here are two of my favorite songs so far this summer (at least I first ran across them this summer):

Interestingly, this tune is not really representative of their early style....but they nailed this one. "On the stairs I smoke a cigarette alone Mexican kids are shootin' fireworks below Hey baby, it's the Fourth of July What ever happened I apologize so dry your tears and baby walk outside, it's the Fourth of July" Love it.

Well, I'm off to light fireworks with the kids! I hope I come back with all my fingers.
