It's true that unionized grocery stores pay much higher wages, but the difference is erased by higher grocery prices. The widespread sexism of which you speak is illegal and if true Walmart should be sued. But there are Big 5 accounting firms and investment banks that make their workers work OT without pay. Americans work hard, and Walmart + Clinton + Obama = work pays.

Walmart makes goods affordable for the poor but doesn't pay them enough. AFFORDABLE GOODS
Clinton comes in, expands EITC, makes sure poor workers' kids don't lose their medicaid, so that Walmart workers get to their wages subsidized and are rewarded for working rather than living off welfare. MORE DISPOSABLE INCOME As Ryan said, Walmart is sued for mistreating workers, and they stop the practice, giving the poor better working conditions.IMPROVED WORKING CONDITIONS LIBERAL SUCCESS STORY! Obama has arrived to do for the middle class what Clinton did for the poor.

whenever I find out that someone is a huge Ayn Rand fan, almost without fail it is someone with huge empathy issues (as in having little to no empathy).
I've never actually read Ayn Rand, because I was turned off by the high school essay competition that they run, which has a Scienetics feel to it. I don't think I have missed much. |
