We haven't had a game like this since 2005. Lets see what kind of fight the boys have for the 2nd half. |

I take solace in knowing that Jay Santos said that we could lose one game and still play in the BCS.
So now I am off to get ready to watch the season premiere of Kath and Kim. I wonder if it will be as funny as the BYU game?

Well the D held them to a field goal, which is an improvement i guess. Down 4 scores the O needs to step up to make a game of it. |

TCU is lucky we aren't playing flag football. They would be dead meat!

I think we can too. We need BSU to lose, and that may be hoping for too much (they don't play anybody). And we need to win out and hope for a TCU loss. I think that would leave us in the 12-15 range in the rankings. Given the plight of the ACC and Big East, it is possible one of the two, if not both, will fail to have a team in the top 16 which opens the door to us if we can't crack the top 12 (assuming we are the highest rated non-BCS team). I think with this performance BYU drops from 8 to 18 in the polls, and in the BCS we may fall in around 22.

Is it possible for BYU to still get into the BCS?
Please. Tonight's game demonstrated precisely why the BCS should be about pitting the 10 best teams against one another and nothing more. BYU was just annihilated by a #24 team, and you want to know whether it's still possible for them to backdoor their way into the BCS on technicalities like Hawaii last year. News flash: the Hawaii result would be the same. Try and picture for example what Penn State would do to them. Each of BYU's first six opponents is ranked lower than Weber State. Tonight was their first game against a Top 50 team. Yeah, let's find a way to qualify these boys to face a Top 10 team. Great idea. |

Junkie, is this true? If so, you've got some explaining to do mercilessly trolling me about Weber State as you've done.
