Utah's future in its own hands.
What a godsend that TCU and BYU keep winning. If the Utes beat those two beasts no way Boise has as strong a claim to the BCS as Utah.

Utah has pretty much hit the glass ceiling in the human polls at 9/10. Possibly they could go 7/8 because some of the teams who are presently ranked higher have to play one another, but I doubt the Bama/Gator loser in the SEC championship game drops that far.
However, computers will love Utah all the more if they defeat TCU and BYU. In the current BCS standings, #7 USC is .755 and #8 Utah is .697. If Utah beats TCU, look at them to significantly close the gap on USC. The Trojans play #21 Cal, but TCU has much more love on every poll than Cal. |
