Waters is a scoutmaster. I'm sure you'd have a lot to talk about with him. He used to be enthusiastic but is less so now. I think there used to be a scouting forum here. I can tell he really loves the kids and trying to do something for them. Some are not natural scouters and he lives in a disadvantaged area (he's an underpaid medical scientist). But I think he's worn out on camping in Texas in the summer, which seems to me damn near intolerable even for true outdoorsmen. There was also a disagreement with the ward about the budget. I don't know the details.

I am 2nd Counselor in the EQ. Not too bad. Conduct the meeting every 3 months, teach the lesson once a quarter, and bug people about their Home Teaching.
I'm also trying to put together an EQ fitness group. We've got a lot of fat asses in there. |
