Enjoyed this article. I would love to see Leach at Auburn. I would love to see Leach someday at BYU, however unlikely it is. |

Michael Lewis is a great writer. Moneyball and The Blind Side are two of my favorite sports books.
I like this line from Leach: "Basically I'm a religious person, but with some clear obedience and discipline issues." Good stuff. |

A friend of mine took a math class with Leach at BYU. He says he was one of the smartest people in the class, and wonders if Leach ever had to even crack the book open.

But Leach clearly has some obedience and discipline issues.

Can't beat obedience as the no. 1 criteria
for a BYU coach. Not LDS Church obedience, but BYU obedience.

Law degree from Pepperdine
isn't too shabby. He's clearly brighter than some on this board. Me excluded of course.

http://www.cougaruteforum.com/showthread.php?t=775 Indeed, when you consider the inherent subjectivity, the differences are inconsequential. In undergrad, Utah, WA State, and Oregon are comparable. As for areas in which Utah ecxels, BYU is non-existent.
