Default women to pray in General Conference?

http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/news/56...e-lds.html.csp

I was aware that women were previously not allowed to pray in Sacrament meeting. But I guess I hadn't thought about women praying in General Conference.

It's almost shocking that this is the case.

I have said this many times before. The thing that I don't like about the way the church utilizes its women is that at times it feels like there is so much talent that is left on the shelf. Like there is untapped potential that we are not using.

Lowering the age for women to go on missions is an example of turning on the tap to maximize the utility of women in the church. We'll see the results of that shortly.
