Anae has played his first card
He has played the "we are young" card. We'll see if he has to play any of his other cards in the future.

I can't find a link, possibly because it's been 10 years, but I recall Urban Meyer saying that when Lance Rice was injured in 2003 and he had to replace him with 19 year old Alex Smith, that he "simplified his offense" so Smith could adjust to it step by step. Well you know the rest of the story, including Smith's progression into an NFL playoff winner.
As for Anae: I'm no expert, but isn't a hurry-up offense something you normally see from veteran players who have a firm grasp on the offense and the flow of the game? |
