vs. Notre Dame 2013
Again we saw what it's like when our boys play against real men. You could tell from the opening offensive and defensive series that we were not going to win the line of scrimmage. And that folks is the entire game.
Our DL got pushed around, none of our DL or linebackers could get off blocks. It was like they were glued to the blockers. Kyle Van Noy has decreased his stock considerably I think because of his lack of strength. Put a big strong guy on him and he disappears. It's hard to know what was going on with our pass game as I don't know if our receivers were getting open or not. Hill looked uncomfortable, and would scramble with all the wrong instincts. Like going to the outside instead of stepping up in the pocket. It's frustrating that we can be pressured with a 3 man rush. Whereas we can't get any kind of pass rush against them. Seriously we have zero. I am getting tired of Bronco's grandiose comments about wanting to win a national championship. Hello? How about actually coming up with a competent offensive and defensive line? How about winning games that matter for once? Sick of this s***. How about actually developing players so that they can make it into the NFL? How about recruiting better so we are not trotting out spares? Oh great news, Povey says he is going to be back next year. Wonderful. |
