I tend to agree. CB has endeared us for many reasons: his baptism story, his leadership in the locker room, his toughness on the field, and his stats which are numerous. He's not the best RB we've ever had, but he's a dude. His mom is an educated non-LDS black woman. She might have been angry about her son's conversion. She was here during Gangrape II and took BYU's side. In general terms, she has been very gracious to BYU and LDS church. I am always annoyed at buttkissing on message forums, but with her I can condone it.

She wasn't angry about his conversion, in fact she posted about how proud of her son she was.

People do not criticize Mrs. Brown because they don't want to be the member that dissuades the non-member from joining the church.

Yes I know. I didn't finish that sentence. I meant to say she might have been angry due to her status as educated, black woman sending her college son off to BYU, but she instead she was very gracious.
