Scout Committee's too are very helpful and can take some of the pressure off yourself. Growing up I remember it included the parents of the scouts in the program, the YM Pres., Scoutmaster, and also a member of the Bishopric. I remember the Senior Patrol Leader attending these meetings as well. I remember they handled the fundraising, built and pieced together our patrol boxes, etc.

The same parents that can't buy their kids scout handbooks are the ones on the scout committee. enuff said.
