5400 is not fast. standard desktop speed is in the 7000s. I sata raptor drive on my home desktop is 10,000. and of course, as mentioned before, work HD much faster than that.
i am not familiar enough with laptop HD to know what is available, though 5400 has been the standard for some time I think. |
