was due to arrive today. I got several packages. Carrying case, wireless mouse, parallels, airplane charger, battery.

But no laptop.

Extra power cord and wireless keyboard also not arrived.

Apple is a mess. I'll be lucky if everything gets eventually sent up to me, after the many hands touch it. Person here tells me that laptops "disappear" in this university's shipping quite often. How reassuring.

Didn't you already get a laptop a while ago? Or maybe now you're just getting around to it?

No, I have my own personal crap laptop. It was the cheapest one you could get, 3 years ago. I'm typing on it right now.

None since then. But I've been waiting to use my research money on a new one for a while. Waited until the new core duo 2's came out.
