Jazz down by 21 to the Hawks at the end of the 3rd....
and they come back to win it by 6.
While there really is no excuse for the Jazz to be down like that to Atlanta, how bad is a team that gets outscored by 27 in the final quarter at home?

I don't know ask Garnett and his T-wolves though. Lakers outscored them 34-7 in the 4th tonight as well.

The T-Wolves only scored 7 in the final quarter?
Dang, that's just bad. The NBA is just getting harder and harder to watch, especially for someone my age who remembers whenthe league wasn't as diluted as it is today. I never liked the Lakers, but those Showtime teams were awesome and very deep. Expansion and lack of fundamentals have ruined a great game.

But for all intents and purposes I don't think a lack of fundamentals has ruined the game. In fact, it's probably just me, but that is what I enjoy about the NBA. There are things done in those games that I can't even imagine doing. I watch the NCAA and HS games for fundamentals. However, as the NBA's style has trickled into those other arenas it's definitely encroaching on the fundamentals. That said it's a natural progression of the sport that all sports go through as coaches and teams try and develop the best way to win. Look at the Suns and their 7 second offense for example.
