Sparks, Fallon, Winnemucca, Lovelock, Elko, Battle Mountain, Ely, Austin or any other town in the state of Nevada, aside from maybe Mesquite.
Add any town in South Central and Eastern Wyoming along I-80 to that list, including, but not limited to Laramie, Cheyenne, Casper, Rawlins, Wamsutter and Rock Springs. I realize Casper isn't on I-80, but it still fits the general trend set by Rawlins as Armpit of an otherwise very nice state. East St. Louis is a real dive as well. A friend of mine had his broken into and gutted while parked directly in front of the Gateway to the West. Oh, and Shasta Lake City, while it has a nice sounding name and is only 8 miles from my current hometown, is one of the least desirable places to live in America. |

Western Kansas. I spent nearly 6 months of my mission traipsing through Dodge City, Garden City, Liberal, and Scott City. If you stared at the horizon long enough you could see the back of your head. It was that flat. Talk about a shocker boarding a bus in Colorado Springs and then waking up the next morning in Garden City.

Based on including Winnemucca, Elko, Battle Mountain, and Ely you are against cities with legalized brothels along I-80.

LUBBOCK Texas! In my most humble opinion, hell vomited that city up because it just couldn't take the smell of cattle feed lots anymore.

That's western Kansas as well. The smell of money they say. Well the feed lot smell is nothing compared to the one day a week smell that comes from the slaughterhouses when they burn off and process much of the excess.

I'll second that. Sixth street in Austin is one of my favorite streets in the country.
