it's always a bad idea, unless you are playing basketball or football.

So, actually I fit in a shorter run before the worst of the storm moved in.

I don't mind a light rain. But the road spray off the cars is disgusting.

Man, you weren't kidding. Apparently there were tornadoes in the city and I didn't realize it. Hm...I believe we have reached the time of year when I shall have to pay more attention to the weather.

Springtime was always full of fear and loathing for me and the family whilst we lived in Alabama. Everyone said I was paranoid, but we had three close brushes with tornadoes. Scarier than anything I have ever experienced, and I saw my aunt (350 lbs. + on a five foot frame) naked once.

Ok, I've just had to clean up the milk I was drinking with my Oreo cookies.

Yeah, we had one hit our neighborhood a couple years back. We were fortunate and the worst we lost was all the food in our freezer...as we were without power for several days.

I don't think about the threat of tornadoes much, I don't know if that's because I grew up here perhaps.

Incidentally, we have a restaurant in town called The Flying Cow Cafe. Presumably a tribute to the scene in Twister.
