For you Norman, Oklahoma folks...
The Scoutmaster in our stake who has become the official scouting guru of all scouting operations in our stake is moving to Norman.
He transformed a non-functioning troop into a very successful one. It went so well, that maybe 40% of the scouts are non-members. As a true sign of success, they are one of those troops that even has their own trailer. We're going to miss him big-time. You guys up there would be idiots to not put him in the scouting program. He'll be involved at the District level either way, however. |

I don't know anything about LDS scouting. Troop 217 is the popular one around here, known as an Eagle Factory back in the day. A bunch of my high school guy friends were in that one. Meets at the Catholic church, I think.
