If you mountain biked fifty miles back to back up trails and what not that is the equivalent to back to back centuries on a road bike. It could be a lack of fitness or a lack of post workout nutrition and hydration.

Within twenty minutes of finishing a hard workout, you should injest PROTEIN, a corn with chicken breast combination is wonderful for muscle rehabilitation, or so the books say.

You can also use a Hammer Recoverite solution following a workout. After a long workout you have damaged your muscles and must feed them to repair them. You need protein, electrolytes and fluids to do this.

i'm not making fun of old guys... in fact i'm not making fun of anybody. i've just found that obese cyclists can displace a lot more wind than someone that looks like michael rasmussen. so, i want to sit behind the al gore's of ULCER.
