I would be willing to negotiate.....I will march for Prop 8 if the Church starts showing BYU football games at the Stake Centers again.

I had a discussion with a ward member about the possibility that the Church's intentions concerning Prop 8 only partly had to do with the measure itself. He maintained that Prop 8 was an opportunity for leadership to get the membership to "retrench" after President Hinckley's fairly moderate approach.
