I think we greatly exceeded our orignal financial goals. I also think we exceeded the goal for man hours (at least so far). I don't think that will be the message.

I would be willing to negotiate.....I will march for Prop 8 if the Church starts showing BYU football games at the Stake Centers again.

I had a discussion with a ward member about the possibility that the Church's intentions concerning Prop 8 only partly had to do with the measure itself. He maintained that Prop 8 was an opportunity for leadership to get the membership to "retrench" after President Hinckley's fairly moderate approach.

Too bad they can't choose an issue that there is better general agreement on. Like the need to get rid of hometeaching.
