Just to be clear, I didn't actually say I think the temple was sexist in my Relief Society lesson. I just said I don't like going there, and it's not the bastion of peace for me that some say it is for them. Not as bad, right? The subtext was very subtle, I'm sure.
Well, I've always been a person who speaks her mind, so I'm sure I can find something to say. . . there seems to be plenty of Mitt Romney hating going on, and I'm hip to that. |

What do you like? Many of us here like cycling, classics, money, travel and other stuff. Not all of us are Bohemian and there are some fiscal conservatives here. We have our resident communists and socialists, but we also have fiscal conservatives if you don't mind them.

so with every bit of information I give, can I be categorized? I'll play that, sure.
I like food. Like to eat it, make it, read about it, think about it. . . I've been known to pay out hundreds on a single meal, but I can still appreciate the true goodness that is the Big Mac. I also do like politics. Due to a schedule change with the new school year, it has been virtually impossible for me to watch Hardball on MSNBC, and that's driving me crazy. Chris Matthews is a big part of my life. . . |

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!! Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |
