So I've lowered my expectations for BYU, second or third in conference, a second round loss in the Conference Tourney and a first loss in whatever Tourney they end up in.
I watched parts of the Duke-Uconn game. To watch real athletes, who are still college kids, perform so smoothly and quickly, was a joy. BYU still looks like a bunch of uncoordinated clodhoppers. But the real case in point is BYU's half court offense, it doesn't have one. So tourney type play completely befuddles BYU. If you slow it down, force the Cougs to pound it in, they can't play, take ill-advised, untimely shots and don't rebound. There is a smidgen of talent on the team but not enough to play exciting ball outside of the conference. Kudos to UNLV to defeating UofA away. Rose has never coached the team to a good halfcourt offense.
