All out of piss, still full of crap.

They aren't talking as if they are God, anymore than a president who says we will fly to the moon during the next decade or says we will cure polio.

Ok, maybe a little more. Heh, I can't resist. From Jonah Goldberg today comes this chuckler:

Quote:
Is Barack Obama the Messiah? ...

Since Obama declared his candidacy, there have been remarkably few biblical plagues. And lions and lambs seem open to bilateral negotiations.

Obama’s apostles are hard to dismiss. Oprah simply calls him “The One,” because “we need politicians who know how to be the truth.” (Jesus says in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth ...”) Oprah goes on to say Obama will help us “evolve to a higher plane,” which would put Obama in the role of our Intelligent Designer.

According to the New York Times, Obama’s volunteers are taught to eschew discussions of the issues and instead “testify” about how they “came to Obama.”

...

And then there’s the Gospel according to Obama himself. In January, he told Dartmouth students that they will know to vote for him because “... a light will shine through that window, a beam of light will come down upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will suddenly realize that you must go to the polls and vote for Barack.”
What would be great is if some talented Photoshopper could rework an existing painting of the First Vision, inserting Barack for the Almighty.

I'd even pay to have a nice glossy copy printed and shipped to Cali and Chino.

this is all part and parcel to the underground claim by the right wing that Obama is the Anti-Christ.

He's not the anti-Christ, he's a student driver being handed the keys to a B-2 bomber.

I'm no McCain fan, but he's no Michael Savage. Savage is a raving lunatic.

McCain has backed off all the torture, warrantless searches, etc. He is becoming more and more like Bush as he senses it is to his advantage.

He is selling out big-time.
