they'll be fine. And I suspect that over the next 20 years, the top of the Big 12 will have more money than the top of the Pac 10.
I'm looking forward to a divorce from Utah. They will become just like Utah State in relation to us. An occasional non-conference foe that you play on the Friday before Conference. |

As of late May, early June, Stanford still held a commanding lead.

Before track, Tam was 13th.
BYU was down about 34th. Geeze we've fallen on hard times. UNM is right below us.

Mike you are just biased towards BYU and the Big XII-II because of your personal and local ties. If you could step away and look at things objectively, you would realize that Utah and the Pac-11 are vastly superior.

You have no argument. You present no argument.
TV deal. Athletic budgets. Alumni support. Quality of football. Quality of basketball. Attendance. Every single metric goes to the Big 12 over the Pac 10. And Utah is the equivalent of adding a Washington State. Hardly makes a difference. |

And in that regard, you only have two schools which skew the results, Stanford and Cal. Yet Texas is equal to Cal in most respects and probably superior in others. In football, you have USC. That's it, but it is now relegated the bowels of penalties. What is your metric for calling the Pac better than the Big XII minus 2?

Okay admittedly I was being dry; but now that you mention it, here's a fun fact for you: The PAC-10 has led the nation in NCAA Championships in 43 of the last 49 years and finished second five times.

Pussies care about gymnastic championships.
In your mind, Standford Crapinals are an athletic powerhouse. In my mind, they are not. So move along, little Yewt. |
