Aw, I thought I was so clever about it.
Subject: Does anyone know a good website for Cougar fans Body: ...that lists the names and positions of past players? I'm trying to find out if this player was a Cougar Forward or Cougar Guard. (Included a photo of Travis Hansen defending somebody) Then I replied to my own message: Subject: Found it....Cougar Guard Body: He was a Cougar Guard. I found it on the TBS website. |

Most of the moderators there are more your mullah types, and not only do they want to protect their turf, they actually despise the sorts of the conversations we have over here. I was suspended because of the suspicion I had an "agenda" re: religious posts.
That is KGB talk, not the sort of thing in an open society. Or maybe it is more Talibanish. Not sure. I called the moderator on it, and his supension of me was overruled. I may have already mentioned it here before. So for mulitple reasons I perceive more antagonism to this site than to others like cougarblue, etc. The other thing is that we are non-commercial and I am running this as openly as I can. This is directly the opposite of how cougarboard has run, with its desperate pleas of "give me money." The tighter they squeeze, the more of everything that will slip through their fingers. It's always been that way. |

The moderators that I know over there are pretty cool. We've got ewth8r posting here. Bernard and TAI and Tim are all friendly and I don't think would care if you pimped this site over there. I don't know the other mods, they may be the ones you are referring to.

Tai and Tim are not moderators. . .
This is the list of moderators:
Belboz Bernard BostonCougar BYULAWGUY chowd Cougar Jazz Fan El Jefe EWTH8TR kccougar Thibious CFJ and Ewth8tr are pretty good guys. Bernard is also a good guy (he slapped my hand a few weeks ago for calling someone an ass wipe, but only deleted my post. I'm sure Jefe would have banned me.) Chowd is Jefe's brother but is never on the board. I've never had any trouble from any other moderator except Jefe. He seriously needs to visit a proctologist to get that stick removed. I also know several people have had problems with Thibious. He seems to be the most prudish of the bunch. What I don't understand is why Sea Chicken is allowed to pimp his site (CougarStats) all the time, but anyone that mentions this site gets banned. Someone ought to ask Jefe why the double standard. |

I'm not saying they are bad guys. I am saying that they are awfully conservative and dogmatic when it comes to what they think is appropriate.
I've met Bernard in person, I've talked to him on the phone. Nice guy. But he's the guy that tried to suspend me for having an agenda. I'm not saying that I couldnt' be friends with them, or have them for dinner or send them a Christmas card. Just that some of them have some mullah-ish tendencies. |

Cougarstats v. Cougarguard
My guess is that El JEfe would say Cougarstats does not compete directly with CB, while this site does. Hence it is not a double standard.

Quote:
"You are not allowed to advertise for any other site or product. If you have any questions about whether something is considered advertising, contact El Jefe." According to the rule, it's not just sites that compete with CougrBoard. |

I don't want to compete with cougarboard.
The difference is that here I want stupid people to feel unwelcome. 8) |
