I'm not a big Coen Bros. fan, but even I have to admit I was very intrigued by the trailer and plan on seeing this one. It looks very good.

You should read it again well worth the trouble.

There is something about a McCarthy novel that chills to the bone. And it's actually not a chill, it's a warm sensation of extreme danger and peril, very creepy.

The thing is there are many scenes like this in Blood Meridian, where the Judge is holding forth, only they're better. The last scene between the kid and the judge is otherworldy.
