As for me, I suck at the game (and nearly every other video game, except the old Track and Field from the Atari 2600), but it is a blast.
That Track and Field game was the bomb. Quite possibly the best ever. Either that or Pong Hockey.

Including that song.

That's truly impressive. I've passed expert, but I just don't see how you get five stars on everything without some serious time devoted to practice.

I made him prove it to me this morning. I watched him beat "Jordan" on Expert, garnering a 4 star with 82% of notes hit. He agrees with you that it is the hardest song in the game and he said he's only pulled the 5 star on it once.

I asked my EA tester buddy about "Jordan". Here is his reply:

Quote:
I can pass "Jordan" with five stars. Sometimes I don't get past a certain section of it but when I do I always get five stars
It would be fun to have a GHII smackdown one day.

Your friends quote is very similar to what my son said minus the 5 star part. He told me that he has to use star power at exactly the right time or he'll fail the song. He beat it on demand for me though so I don't think it happens very often.

Using star power at the right time is the only way I beat a few songs on Expert.
