I guess you don't agree.
I agree there was a worthwhile social message to deliver; I disagree strongly with the means.

WHy? BEcasue it was in bad taste? Did you see it nad didn't like itor did you refuse to see it because it was depraved?

Btw, I agree with you in general, that it is depraved, and I have not seen the movie, but I have seen excerpts and, even though it is pretty bad, it is also pretty funny.

So humor justifies depravity? Based on pop culture today, you're not a rarity. "Well, it is funny . . ."

Your comments remind of this classic scene from "Stripes"

Psycho: The name's Francis Sawyer, but everybody calls me Psycho. Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill you.
Leon: Ooooooh.
Psycho: You just made the list, buddy. Also, I don't like no one touching my stuff. So just keep your meat-hooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you. And I don't like nobody touching me. Any of you homos touch me, and I'll kill you.
Sergeant Hulka: Lighten up, Francis.

Did I say that? Look at it like this. Suppose someone made a completely unique and delicious dish using gray wolf eyelids. You may abhor it, and choose not to consume it, but it would still be delicious.

I love the ending to The Freshman where Brando is lazily walking the Komodo Dragon that all the rich snobs, who paid a pretty penny to go to a clandestine restaurant specializing in endangered species, think they're dining on. They were eating chicken.

Now that's good comedy making an important social point.

That's slightly raised smile funny. Rednecks flipping out over gay cage fight is LOL funny.

P.S. humor justifies depravity
